FEA-Opt Technology announced that, Giant Bicycles and one major ODM of composite bike frame at Taiwan have all adopted SmartDO as the solver and integration platform for design optimization and automation.

Founded in 1972 at Taiwan, Giant Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (commonly known as Giant Bicycles), is recognized as the world's largest bicycle manufacturer with facilities in Taiwan, Netherlands, and China. Today Giant has sales in over 50 countries, in over 12,000 retail stores.

With MSC Software as its major CAE system, Giant needs a platform to integrate and automate all the different in-house codes and packages. In addition, it also needs a powerful tool to achieve design optimization and further improve its already leading edge products. After intensive evaluation and study, Giant adopted SmartDO in 2013 as its major design optimization and engineering process integration platform.
